Santa Clarita Valley’s business community has a new name to get used to, even if little else is changing. KKAJ LLP, a Valencia-based accounting firm that has served Southern California clients since 1953, has officially rebranded as Blue Oaks CPA LLP.
The firm says the switch is a fresh coat of paint, not a new owner. Client teams, the office location, phone numbers, and client portal access are all staying the same — only the sign out front and the website address (now blueoakscpa.com) are changing.
“Blue Oaks reflects who we are today and where we are going, while honoring the trust our clients have placed in us for generations,” said partner Evan L. Faucette.
Co-partner Michael P. Garrison echoed that the firm’s approach isn’t changing along with its name. “The principles behind our work have not changed,” he said, adding that the firm remains focused on understanding client needs and supporting their success.
Blue Oaks CPA offers audit and accounting, tax planning and compliance, income and estate tax planning, business consulting, business management, and international services for privately held businesses, nonprofits, individuals, estates, and trusts across the Santa Clarita Valley and greater Los Angeles area.
For a firm to keep its client base and reputation intact through more than seventy years and a full rebrand is no small thing in a region where professional-services firms rarely stay under the same ownership that long.
