Santa Clarita’s business community is set to gather this Wednesday for one of the Santa Clarita Valley (SCV) Chamber of Commerce’s most anticipated annual events: the 9th Annual Hispanic Heritage Celebration, hosted by the Chamber’s Latino Business Alliance. The evening runs from 5:30 to 8 p.m. at The Centre, located at 20880 Centre Pointe Parkway, and doubles as both a cultural showcase and a tribute to entrepreneurs who have helped shape the local economy.
Among this year’s honorees is Gerardo Robledo, the owner of two well-known local eateries, Guanatos Tacos and Las Originales Mexican Grill and Bar, recognized for building a hospitality presence that’s become a neighborhood staple. Sophisticated Stone Inc. is also being celebrated for its contributions to the local business landscape. The evening’s top honor, the 2026 Lifetime Achievement Award, goes to Santa Clarita City Councilman Bill Miranda, acknowledging years of service to the community both in and out of city government.
The celebration isn’t just about looking back. Two students from Bowman High School will receive scholarships during the event, a reminder that the Latino Business Alliance’s mission extends to investing in the SCV’s next generation. Attendees can also expect a full cultural program, including live mariachi music and traditional folk dance performed by the Canyon High School Ballet Folklórico.
Chamber President Ivan Volschenk framed the night as a chance to recognize “entrepreneurs, businesses and leaders who contribute so much to the Santa Clarita Valley,” a fitting theme for a region where small, family-run businesses make up a large share of the local economy.
